FRAMES: until this Sunday, July 13th

Here is a reminder of our current show, FRAMES: a mobile exhibition at our new store, 1342 1/2 Abbot Kinney Blvd. Venice, CA 90291. The last day of this exhibit will be this Sunday, July 13th so don't miss it! (material: hinoki wood / price range: $350~$1600)

Locals : When you walk by our store at night, look for the shadow on the wall. It's beautiful!

FUGEI and YEN WARE : July 18th (Fri) - August 3rs (Sun)

opening reception : July 18th (Fri.) from 4PM to 8PM at the new tortoise

Our next exhibition will be on Fugei (embroidery fabric works) and Yen ware (ceramic works).

Fugeiten is a project of textile crafts collaborating with traditional craftsmen in the provinces.
In this exhibition they will bring "Koginzashi" bags and crafts.

Yen ware is a line of new Japanese pottery manufactured by Mizuho kiln, a mingei pottery in the southern part of Japan.

At our opening party, we will serve kakigori (shaved ice) made by Rika Fukuda, a food coordinator, who recently published 'A book of shaved ice' in Japan. Kids are welcome!
